Hey world. I just wanted to update y'all on what we have been up to. We have gotten Janissa and the Fenblades finished up. Meanwhile we have also gotten our first run of resin scenic bases started. These bases are a shale / broken ground style of base. We are currently only selling them on ebay. We do hope to actually be able to get some real packaging put together soon and move these from just an online item to a full line of in store retail bases. Our goal is to provide products to gamers that are affordable and good quality. We hope that this is the first step in that direction. For some pics click on the read more link. Till next time CJ In the past couple days things have been progressing well. We have gotten one of the Trollbloods completely finished, Janissa is on her custom base and just needs some finishing touches, Mulg is done, the Earthborn Dire Troll is almost there, the Dire Troll Bomber is coming along, and a unit of Fenblades painted by the army's previous owner is waiting for touch-up We also have a set of Slate Wasteland bases under a layer of RTV and should give us some great bases for our customers. Click on the Read more link to see some WiP pics and a Pic of Mulg. Till next time -CJ Now that we have produced several blanks we have been working on some actual scenic resin bases. The first 3 series we are looking at producing are shale "Rocky Outcropping" bases, textured "Pre Flocked" bases and brick road "Herringbone" bases. We have produced the masters for the 20mm square and round bases and the 30mm round lipped bases. We have alos produced rapid prototypes of the round 25mm bases Below I have included pictures of the rapid prototypes. I plan on seeing how well they take paint and how they look compared to bases that I have flocked and painted by hand. Until next time - CJ Today, is a day that will live in infamy, or so I would like to think. Today, Gamer's Pair-O-Dice has begun pre-production of blank 25mm round and square bases and 30mm slotted round bases. While I doubt Games Workshop is shaking in its boots, we are proud of ourselves as we hope that this may lead to some local stores carrying our product. Below I am including some pics of the pre-production bases..... I really hope that everyone likes them, and hey, shoot us some ideas as far as what you woudl like to see for affordable resin bases. Until next time, CJ |
